Essentially a survey, this map of the manor, which includes modern-day Albany and Rensselaer Counties, locates important creeks and roads, as well as several hundred settler's houses. Originally drawn by David Vaughn in 1860, these unusual maps are useful for tracing mid-Hudson families in the 18th century. Compiled from original surveys, these reprints show locations of many families settled on or owning land in this area.
