Beginning with Wolfe’s family history, this work follows the sickly boy’s growth and development into a dedicated soldier, influenced by his father and other military leaders, and shaped by experience. This work contains famous portraits of Wolfe, Pitt and Amherst, the great British commanders of the French and Indian War.
